About Judgment Day:

The first Judgment Day took place in October of 1998 during the height of the Austin vs McMahon feud. After being on hiatus in 1999, it returned in May of 2000. The traditional May PPV event was Over the Edge but that name was retired after Owen Hart’s fatal accident during the 1999 event. From 2004 - 2006, the show was a SmackDown! brand PPV event.

Top 3 Judgment Day Moments
1 – The 2000 Iron Man match between The Rock and Triple H was undoubtedly the greatest battle between these two legends.
2 – The 2001 show featured Kurt Angle battle Chris Benoit in a best of 3 falls match that included a regular match, a submissions match, and a ladder match.
3 – In addition to the previously mentioned iron man match, the Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho submission match also took place on the 2000 card.

Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship: Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton
Rules of the match: The ring will be surrounded by a steel cage. A wrestler can win this match by pinfall, submission, or by escaping the cage and having their two feet touch the arena floor.
Events leading to this match: Triple H ended Randy's six month title reign at last month's Backlash PPV.
